Admiral Twin Drive-In Time Line
1951 - opened
1952 - second screen added
1952 - name changed to Admiral Twin
The Admiral Twin began life in 1951 as the
"Modernaire Drive In Theatre". The single-screen Modernaire
Drive-In originally built by L. E. Snyder, then sold in 1952 to
Alex Blue and H.B. Robb, Jr.. They expanded to include a second
screen and changed the name to the Admiral Twin Drive-In.
