This course is always in really good shape, plays pretty quickly and is a relatively inexpensive. The course overall is pretty forgiving, you can spray the driver off the tee with only trees and well placed sand traps as the penalty as opposed to OB. There is a quite a bit of water, more than you would expect for Iowa, and the wind is often a factor, especially on 3 of the par 5's where it is usually in your face. It is Par 72.
