The diner was built in the 1940's in Albion, New York. It was originally named Dauphin's Superior Diner, opening it's doors in 1948. It is still located at it's original site. Besides being a diner, this location was an OTB (Off Track Betting) Palor for a number of years. In 1986 a new owner restored the diner to it's original glory with it's art deco style. The food is great and it feels like a step back in time. The diner is featured in American Diner Cookbook. A replica of the diner can be purchased through the Danbury Mint.
