In the year 2000, Durham voters approved issuing a bond for construction of this 25,000 square foot facility. It opened three years later.
There are 30 public internet work stations, plus wireless capability. There are over 128,000 books available.
The library is located on Lick Creek Lane, next to a fire station, and at the entrance to Grove Park Subdivision.
