This benchmark is located just south of the Deschutes-Klamath County Line and near a quarter corner. To reach take the powerline road near mile 1.7 on Hwy. 31 and go south along powerline for about a half mile. The benchmark is set in a concrete filled pipe. The benchmark was set by the Forest Service in 1929 and was marked 4256 feet.
