From "Washington: A Guide to the Evergreen State" in the Mt. Rainier National Park, "Park Tour 1" section, p.584.
NARADA FALLS (4,572 alt.) at 16 m. (R), plunging 168 feet into Paradise River, is one of the most attractive cataracts on the mountain.
This falls was the location of one of Mt. Rainier NP's many CCC camps. The CCC boys built the bridge, huge retaining wall, stone guardrails, comfort station, and the trail down to the base of the falls from the parking area. Although not as beautiful as nearby Christine Falls, it is still very pretty, especially when viewed from its base.
