The Rem Koolhaas designed McCormick Tribune Campus Center incorporates the Chicago El into its design with a 530-foot long stainless tube surrounding it and sitting directly on the building. The single story 110,000 square foot building completed in 2003 is the first building designed by Rem Koolhaas in the United States.
