The pier at Wilson dates back as early as 1845 and was built by Luther Wilson. It has been rebuilt and extended twice since then. Out on the pier there are a few benches to sit back and enjoy the great lake views. Fishing is also popular out on the pier and also inside Tuscarora Bay. I didn't see any bait vending machines during my travels, but that's not to say there isn't any available. The Wilson Boathouse restaurant is a short walk from the entrance from the parking lot entrance to the pier.
