Capitol View Park is a 150 acre park in Frankfort with softball, football, and soccer fields. It also has picnic areas around the athletic fields and a small park area that is also accessible by boat from the Kentucky River. The Kiosk is located at the park entrance and provides a large map of the trail system.

Short description of trail:
Intermingled among all of these amenities is a great network of trails for the beginner and experienced rider. The trails consist of tight twisty singletrack, a few creek crossings, railbed trails, technical downhill sections, and a couple of significant climbs. One of the unique features of this trail system is the double sinkholes that are always a highlight for group rides. The trails are mostly hardpack, with some gravel and grassy sections. Trail conditions are usually fast and drain well making it a good consideration if there has been recent rainfall.
