River Cave is a somewhat substantial Karst cave located in Ha Ha Tonka state park. The cave entrances are barred to protect the natural resource, but you CAN enter with written permission from the park service. The park website mentions that "special" tours of the cave are given in the winter, when humans would be less harmful to the bat population. This contradicts the policy held by most other caves, but hey. Whatever.
Ha Ha Tonka is also home to the state's 12th largest spring, a turn-of-the-century castle, a natural bridge, and some seriously wicked sinkholes.
