Located in historic Wright Park in the heart of the Stadium Historic District, exotic tropical plants and floral displays await you at the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory. This historic Victorian glass conservatory, with its distinctive twelve-sided central dome, is listed on the City of Tacoma, Washington State and National historic registers. 3,500 panes of glass make up the dome and wings of the Conservatory.
Be sure to stroll through Wright park after you visit the conservatory. Nearby you'll also find "antique row", a section of downtown Tacoma filled with antique shops. The conservatory is also near the Theater district. If you want to go downtown and don't feel like walking you can hop on the free lightrail in the theater district and get off at the University station, across from many attractions like the Museum of Glass, Bridge of Glass, University of Washington Tacoma campus, and the Washington State History Museum.
