Long Description:
There are two separate bridges at this location each handling one-way traffic.. One for south bound traffic and one for north bound traffic.
Common to both bridges: Twin Span Steel Truss Through Deck bridges; 13,428 Feet Overall, 3,019 Foot Superstructure, 13,428 Feet Overall, 3,019 Foot Superstructure, 1,575 Foot Main Span, carrying a daily traffic count of 64,600 vehicles (2003).
The South bound structure was built in 1959 with a width 0f 52-feet and 3-traffic lanes. The North bound structure was built in 1988 width 92-feet with 4-traffic lanes.
