The former court house and police station were converted to holiday homes in 2000. Copper Tops is the old court room. Sergeant Man the old police sergeant's quarters and Judges Lodgings part of police station.

In the lifetime of local young adults, they remember going to court on a site visit from junior school. They had a mock trial in the court room, and some were put in the cells.
