This anchor is located at the corner of Solano Ave. and Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo, CA 94590
Mare Island Naval Shipyard was in operation here from 1854 till it was closed 1 April 1996.
This anchor was probably replaced on one of the sailing ships that were in for overhaul.
