The Presbyterian Church was one of the early churches in Marshall. During the Civil War an earlier Presbyterian Church in Marshall was used as a hospital during the Battle of Marshall. This church building also know as the "Rock Church" was built in 1871-1873. The building is in a Gothic design. The Presbyterian congregations continues to use this building for their services.
