Located in the heart of Salmon Creek, the Shurgard Self-Storage (now Public Storage) Lighthouse is a welcoming beacon for those on the move. The lighthouse was built in 1992 or 1993. There is a hatch to the lighthouse interior in the center of the office ceiling. Last year (2006) Public Storage bought out Shurgard Self-Storage becoming America's leading self-storage company with over 2,000 locations and 35 years of continuing success. The Lighthouse is located at 1401 NE 134th in Salmon Creek on the west side of the I-5 freeway.
