Once a town filled with biker bars, the Buckaroo Tavern was one of the few left in Fremont. It made a good setting to set up Patrick (Heath Ledger) as a tough guy. Now the location is a restaurant called Restaurant Roux.

Michael (David Krumholtz) and Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) arrive at the Buckaroo Tavern on Michael's dirt bike. A Harley rider says to Michael "Nice bike." When Michael responds "really?" the Harley rider says "no" and rides off.
