"The Seattle Mural" is a glass mosaic mural designed by renowned artist Paul Horiuchi for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. Originally the mural was placed over a pool of water and was surrounded by temporary structures, including the IBM building.
Today it forms the backdrop for the amphitheatre stage, which is used for the many festivals and cultural events that take place on the Seattle Center grounds. It's location is adjacent to the Pacific Science Center's Seattle Center side entrance and the Neototems Children's Garden.
