VICTORIA (r. 1837-1901)

The statue of Queen Victoria, is in the Victoria Memorial outside the gates of Buckingham Palace, the home of the current Queen of England. The statue was built by the sculptor Sir Thomas Brock, in 1911 while he surround was constructed by the architect Sir Aston Webb.

Queen Victoria's reign was over 63 years was from 20 June 1837 to 22 January 1901, the longest of any of the British Monarchs.

While I was wandering around looking at the statue of Queen Victoria, the limo carrying her great-great-granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II, drove by.
