The Climate Pledge Arena is home to the Seattle Kraken NHL team and the Seattle Storm WNBA team.
The Arena was originally built as the Washington State Pavilion for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. After the fair it was renamed the Seattle Center Coliseum and was used as both a sports and a concert venue holding concerts for the likes of Elvis and the Beatles. In the late 1990s it underwent an extensive remodel and was renamed Key Arena at that time. From 2018 to 2021 the arena underwent an extensive redevelopment and was renamed "Climate Pledge Arena" by Amazon to draw attention to climate change.
