Long Description:From the little information I've been able to find on this one, it
appears that the site was first "discovered" in 1979. Since then
the site and surrounding areas have been inspected, but it appears
no official clean-up took place. The site was archived in 1990.
The posted coords are for the main gate which is closed, locked,
and posted no trespassing. Just to the east is another entrance,
near a small building, from which you can see the landfill. While
there today a Delaware City Police officer drove out from the
landfill and stopped me to see what I was doing. Even though the
eastern gate was unlocked and opened, I didn't go past it. After I
explained, he mentioned that they've had a lot of trouble out there
with illegal dumping, and that he was just making sure that I
wasn't doing anything illegal.
