Located at Sandy Bottom Park, on Sandy Bottom Road, off County Rd. 36. Gravel Ramp. Parking for 12 car and trailers. It is operated by the Town of Richmond. It is closed from June 15-Wednesday after Labor Day. Sounds crazy, but this is the site the Richmond Fire Department uses for lake rescues. (Other lake access is at the boat launch located off Rt. 20A, 4 miles south on East Lake Road.-Fee required and it is open from May -Nov.) Dominant sport species are walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Panfish availability: bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch and black crappies.
