The plaque in the park reads: "In grateful tribute to the local men and women who served their county. This land is rededicated in their memory to remain, forever, a public park 1976" The Memorial Town Hall is located here. It was built in 1872, in honor of the more than 200 Naples men who served in the Civil War. There is a Gazebo in the park listing Naples residents who have served their country. Every fall the Naples Grape Festival takes over the park and surrounding neighborhoods. The Memorial Town Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places.
