On what is now the U-Haul HQ in Youngstown OH is a 50's era siren that goes with the 50's era art deco building that once housed the Isaly Ice Cream HQ - home of the skyscraper cone and chipped chop ham. Isaly’s was a chain of family-owned dairies and restaurants started in Mansfield (Richland County), Ohio with locations throughout the American Midwest from the early 1900s until the 1970s. Best known today for its iconic Klondike Bar, the concern was founded by William Isaly, son of Swiss immigrants who settled in Monroe County, Ohio in the 1800s. Visit here the
