The Alibi in all its neon glory is located on the corner of N. Shaver and N. Interstate Avenue. N. Interstate Avenue winds its way from the Memorial Coliseum in Portland to Delta Park in North Portland. It is an avenue of 50’s cheap motels with colorful neon lights, single family houses and apartments, old firehouse, churches, small cafes, and many (but not all) decrepit shops and antique stores. The Yellow Line MAX light rail runs through the center of Interstate Avenue with stations every few blocks from downtown to the Expo Center.
