This beautiful 3 tiered fountain is built along the river walk in Palatka, Fla to honor the Veterans of Putnam Coun ty. This whole area is designed to be a monument to those who have fallen for our country. Facing the fountains to your left you can see the Veterans Memorial bridge crossing the St. Johns River. To your right you can see the State of Florida's Submarine Memorial dedicated to the men of the US Submarine USS Tang. This entire are makes for a quite evening stroll along the river. Often you can see mantees swiming lazily by in the river or fishing jumping as they swim up and down river. I hope you get a chance to stop by and see the fountains.
