Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis, MO. was formed in 1901. It was
selected for the 1904 Olympics golf competition. This was the
second and final Olympics where golf was part of the competitive
sports.
In 2004, Glen Echo Country Club had a huge celebration to
commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1904 Olympics.
Today, an Olympic flag with the year 1904 flies over the
clubhouse.
