Now the Israelites settled in Egypt in the region of Goshen. They
acquired property there and were fruitful and increased greatly in
number.
Goshen is where the Israelites lived while in Egypt. They were
here from the time of Joseph until Moses led the exodus to the
promised land. It is mentioned 14 times in Genesis.

that has a little over 1,000 residents. It rests just to the
southwest of Mt Pisgah at the junctions of Interstate 5, Oregon
Highway 99, and Highway 58. The Goshen post office was established
in 1874. Today, Goshen no longer has its own post office and looks
mostly like an industrial area as you pass by on the freeway or
highway.
