Hawkshead Brewery now has two breweries. Original, near Hawkshead, at Town End is still going, used for smaller brews and experiments, and here at Staveley a new purpose built 20 barrel brewery (three times the size of the original) beside the River Kent, at Staveley Mill Yard, brewing since May 2006.
The Beer Hall is open in winter, Wednesday to Friday from 12 to 5 (summer to 7), Saturday and Sunday 12 to 5. Also open some evenings, often on Friday. Serving own beers and others, as well as ciders, wines and spirits. Beer Hall has entertainment license, see site for events.
