This is Dave Thomas' original Wendy's. He opened it on November 15, 1969 at 257 East Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. Today, March 2, it will serve its last hamburger. The first Wendy's is closing due to lack of a drive thru and only nine parking spaces. While you may not be able to eat there, take your picture in front of it, as who knows how long it will be there.
