This spanish colonial church built with thick, organic curving walls has been used as a model by many New Mexico artists. It's most famous depiction is in paintings by Georgia O'Keefe.

While there are many surviving, and even still active, adobe churches that were built during Spanish colonialism, this is probably the most famous and iconic. It has been the subject manner of a great many artists, most notably Georgia O'Keefe and Ansel Adams.
This church is the catholic church for the village of Los Ranchos de Taos and holds services on Sundays and Holy days. It is open to the public Monday through Saturday.
