Long Description:
The wood man is made from different diameter limbs from a variety of trees. The art comes from the arrangement of these pieces.

There are many more sculptures throughout Grizedale forest. Some are part of a multi-cache. Not all are wooden. This one is over 5 metres high with real metal axe head.
The car park is pay and display, and very busy at weekends and holidays. Nearby cafe and gift shop.
