In the Pasaj VI (Passage VI), that connects Strada Domei and Strada Liviu
Rebreanu is an interesting 3D model of the Pitata Centrala (Central Square) on a
stone pedestal between two benches. It's not a model of the current situation. It's a reproduction of the central
square of the town in the pre-1500s.
Some text on the model has further information:
15th century
The Gothic style is replaced by the Renaissance style.
The functionalist
principle of medieval architecture is replaced by the aesthetic concepts of
the Renaissance.
The present model is a reproduction of the central square
of the town of Bistrita in the pre-1500s.
On the right side of the model one can find some more information
about the foundry and the age of the model: "Turnatoria (foundry) TAPIO,
2015".
In the center of the model we see the Biserica Evanghelica (Evangelical
Church) and some buildings around it in various sizes. They all have some
details like windows, doors, etc. and there has obviously been some kind of
canal along the square. And there was a fountain, that doesn't exist anymore
(at least not here).
