West Shore Beach is located on the south-western side of Llandudno headland and is much quieter than the more developed North Shore.

The coordinates are taken near to the toilets and childrens play area.

The beach faces towards Conwy Bay with lovely views across the bay and out towards Anglesey. It is popular with tourists and at low tide there is a large stretch of sand.

The beach is great for kite-flyers and kite-surfers' and is also well-known for its stunning sunsets.

You can walk along the Wales Coast Path, or climb up the nearby Great Orme headland and explore the wildlife-rich country park and Special Area of Conservation.

There is a café with parking, toilet facilities and a childrens play area near to the beach.

This beach has no lifeguard and you are advised to read the safety signs at the beach entrance to make yourself aware of local hazards.
