The history of this mill dates back to 1451. It burned in 1524. It was first called Eselmühle in 1582. It was complete rebuilt in 1894.
Electric motors supplement energy from the water wheel which in fact only provides 15% of the necessary power. The mill still grinds grain into flower. There is also a backery and a store selling natural foods. On the second story is a small cafe.
