Long Description:
ONC staff includes six full-time staff members, as well as several seasonal naturalists and a volunteer crew of visitor center hosts. Oxley Nature Center is located in Mohawk Park, about a mile north of the Tulsa Zoo.

There are two waymarking stickers. One is kept behind the front desk at Oxley Nature Center's Interpretive Building (we'll keep this page updated on where to find both staff and sticker when the Interpretive Building closes in April or May 2007 for interior renovation work.) There is a staff member near the front desk from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Oxley Nature Center is closed on city holidays, which includes April 6 in 2007.

There is another waymarking sticker at the Harriet Barclay Visitor Center at Redbud Valley Nature Preserve, which is located in Rogers County 12 miles east of Oxley Nature Center. It is on 161st East Avenue, 3.8 miles north of I-44. The ONC staff takes turns working there Wednesdays through Sundays. It is closed every Monday and Tuesday and on city holidays. The Barclay Visitor Center's hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but call ahead to make sure someone will be there (918-669-6460.) There are times when the staff person(s) on duty there close(s) the visitor center in order to present a program, or to circle the trail on a busy afternoon, or to run an errand.
Waymark Sticker or Hat/Lapel Pin Location: Permanent location - I'll meet you there!
