Enchanted Rock is approximately 17 miles north of Fredericksburg, Texas. There are several trails that will get you to the top. The most direct is .6 mile but it is also the steepest, rising 425 feet in that distance. This is called the "Summit Trail". As you near the rocky top, the trail just kind of ends and you are on your own to find your way to the top.
To see this rock you must be watching for it above the top head of this trail. It is not visible from other trails.
