Long Description:
Providing emergency services since 1936. The Fire District covers
approximately 70 square miles. They provide the following services,
rural and residential fire protection, complete EMS services with 3
ambulances, vehicle extrication team, rope rescue team, ice rescue
team, rescue boat, dive team, fire police and rural fire/rescue all
terrain vehicle. They also provide non-emergency services,
including fire prevention training for the school and community
groups, CPR, first aid training, blood pressure screening and
community fire/rescue demonstrations.
