Long Description:
Seattle's Burke Building sat on the corner of Second and Marion
Streets from 1889 to 1971, and was then razed to make room for the
Federal Building. Decorative elements from the Burke Building were
built into the plaza, and the Romanesque entry arch still stands on
Second Avenue.
