Update 7/28/08: The artist, Adam Rosand, was kind enough to write to me with a little more information. Edwin was actually the owner of the property who commissioned the mural, and unfortunately passed away only 6 weeks after it was completed. The cat is named "Rollover", a stray Ed liked to feed and who still lurks in the neighborhood today. Thanks Adam!
