I could not resist getting the Bigger Tank here with the awesome view.
The Documented tank is a small one just to the East of this BIG ONE.
Colorado has some of the best sceinic views in the Country.
But everywhere I go I find something sceinic and worth the stop and views.
You just have to seek,and ye shall find.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1949 (DHK) STATION IS THE TOP CENTER OF THE WALSENBURG FILTER PLANT TANK. IT IS A CYLINDRICAL METAL TANK SET ATOP A STRUCTURAL TIMBER FRAME. THE TANK IS ABOUT 35 FEET HIGH AND PAINTED ALUMINUM. IT IS LOCATED 5.0 MILES WEST OF WALSENBURG AND JUST SOUTH OF THE BROWN STONE FILTER PLANT.
