Long Description:
The Hopper House, built in 1885, was the only house on the property until 1907 when land around the house was sold for development. The city of 30,000 has grown well beyond what used to be the outskirts of town. The original trees in the median were cut down in the 1980s with the 2nd generation planted just a few years ago.
