This cap is located Skeleton Burn southeast of Bend. There is a orange carsonite marker post and a metal post with survey monument sign near the corner. The cap is marked T 18 S, R 13 E, Sec. Cor 29, 28, 33, 32. It was set for Deschutes County in 1973 by LS 540. The Skeleton Fire killed all the trees in the area. Only one BT (bearing tree) remains. A reference mark was added in 1997 after the fire.
