The link will take you to the site for the HamCams. A pair of cameras mounted on the roof of the Lick Observatory's Visitor Center. The two cameras provide round the clock views of the summit of Mount Hamilton. Mount Hamilton is a 4200' peak located to the East of San Jose.

The cameras are high resolution and boast full size images of 1280x960 pixels. Pictures are taken every 3 minutes. Also available on the site is a daily history of the images and movies of the stills.

Lick Observatory is open to daytime visitors nearly every day of the year. The Observatory is closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and at night after 5:00pm.

It is requested that you not visit at night, as the headlights of your car will disturb the scientists busy at work.
