The Tennessee State Memorial has three soldier's etched on its face, representing each of the Tennessee regiments that were in the Battle of Gettysburg.
The three stars on the top of the memorial, symbolizing divisions of the State of Tennessee, Eastern, Central, and Western divisions.
The memorial material is Carnelian Select Granite and Elberton Gray Marble. The memorial cost about $25,000.
