11 mounds were opened in 1911. Unfortunately there is no documentation about the excavation, although the finds are remarkable. Noteworthy items are especially two toilet utensils consisting of ear spoons, fingernail cutters, and tweezers as well as a beaded coral chain, jewelry pin with an amber head, two gold earrings, along side bronze jewelry from the late Hallstatt period. Also beautifully crafted are two early Latene period clasps in the form of a bird and ram. The best finds are on display at the Württembergischen Landesmuseum in Stuttgart (Old castle).
