This is a spa in the town of Böblingen just south of Stuttgart. Although not a "Heilbad" or state recognized medicinal bath, it does have very nice pools with warm mineral water.

Mineraltherme Böblingen has 5 pools, 3 indoor and 2 outdoor.
The large outdoor pool is kept at 32° C. There are jets which throw up bubbling water periodically and spouts of water which are great for massaging the shoulders and neck. Attached to this pool are a whirlpool kept at 36°C and a cold water pool for cooling off.
The small outdoor pool is kept at 36° C. There are areas for laying down in the water which periodically bubble and froth. Also attached to this pool is a whirlpool area.
The large indoor pool is kept at 31° C. It has water spouts and also a water spray which feels a bit like rain.
There is also a relaxation pool kept at 36° C and darkly lit and a "movement" pool kept at 34° C. There were pool noodles in the latter when I was there.
Bathing suites are worn in all of the pools.
As their website indicates that the water comes from 775 m underground, I deduce that there is no natural spring here but that rather, a well was drilled into the ground 775 m deep to tap a layer of mineral water underground. The water is characterized as Fluoride Sodium Chloride Thermal Water and has a light salty taste.
There are lounge chairs everywhere and a nice "Winter garden" with a southern exposure which is nice to lounge in when the sun shines in the Winter.
There is also a restaurant on site.
The saunas are textile free and mixed.
The shy types may wonder, how does a visit to the spa work?
Well, come prepared with swimsuit, towel, and shower soap as these are not provided. When you enter the facility, you will see a counter where you pay the entrance fee which is €9.00 for 2.5 hours if you are an adult. This includes entrance to the classic sauna but not the sauna garden. You will receive a wristband with a round token attached to it. You need to press the token against a reader in order to release the turnstyle. You will keep the wristband/token. When you enter, your start time is recorded on the token automatically.
Proceed to the changing area where there are a number of cabins. You walk in on one side, change your clothes, and then walk out the other side to the pools. The cabin doors are locked and released while inside by a lever near the base of the bench.
Once outside of the changing cabin, you will find the lockers with knobs you use to open them. You can tell if the locker is already taken by the way the knob is positioned. If the locker doesn't open it means it is already taken. Put your things in the locker. You will need to position your token over the knob. When you see the knob turn green, twist it closed. This locks the locker.
You then strap the band/token to your wrist.
Don't forget to take a shower before going into the pools.
There are two electronic reader devices where you leave the changing areas to enter the bathing area. The reader on the right will tell you the time you entered the facility and how much time you have remaining. The reader on the left will tell you which locker number is yours. This is handy when you have forgotten your locker number.
When you're finished, you will need the token to open your locker. Hold it over the knob in order to turn it and open the locker door. To exit through the turnstyle on your way out, insert the band with token into a slot which will grab it and then the turnstyle will be released.
