This mark is an unstamped State of Illinois Division of Highways disk, embedded in a sidewalk in Starved Rock State Park. The mark is easily accessible from the neighboring parking lot for the Starved Rock Lodge (some distance from the Visitors' Center or Starved Rock itself).

The mark is located along the path from the parking lot to the lodge, in the sidewalk along a bridge-like area east of a one-way road looping in front of the lodge. The mark is very close to a low stone wall/railing, and is about even with the end of the handrail near the curb side of the walkway.
