Long Description:
Briarcliffe Inn is the perfect spot for those looking for a little solitude. Situated at the end of the road near the shore of Salutation Cove, you'll hear nothing but quiet. Our guests tell us they've never felt more welcome, gotten such a sound sleep and been better fed.

At Briarcliffe Inn we treat guests like long-time friends. And we like to show our friends the places we love to go...meet the people who make us smile and do things you wouldn't do anywhere else.

We have created exclusive Briarcliffe Inn Experiences that will take you into places most tourists never see. Whether it's tonging oysters, owning a race horse for an evening, protecting the endangered piping plover or going on a customized GPS Adventure Quest we have designed moments that will weave a rich tapestry of memories.

And whether you go on one of our experiences or exploring on your own, Briarcliffe Inn is the perfect place to start your day. Every morning begins with the smell of fresh baking wafting up from the kitchen mingled with the intriguing aroma of our specially brewed coffee. Our breakfasts combine fresh fruit with homemade pastries followed by a tantalizing hot serving featuring gourmet dishes using free range eggs, locally produced preservative free meats and ingredients from our own organic garden. And no matter how long you stay with us, you'll never have the same breakfast.

Many of our most precious memories have a connection to great food and there are many wonderful restaurants within half an hour of Briarcliffe Inn but if you're interested in a truly unique culinary experience, you might want to consider allowing us to create something special for you. Many of our guests like to enjoy our traditional Island Lobster Supper the evening they're first night with us or try one of our other Arrival Dinners.

Each of our five guest rooms have private bathrooms and are decorated with your peace and tranquility in mind.

And if you'd like to rent the whole house for a week or more, talk to us about our Summer Rental Package. It's a wonderful way to get together with family or friends.

We are GLBT Welcoming and dog friendly.
