From the website: Second Avenue, 1935: Daytime traffic in 1935 seems sparse except for streetcars and pedestrians near the familiar Smith Tower, in this view looking north along Second Avenue from Yesler Way. After dark, moviegoers could sit in the "talkies" all night, according to the street-level advertisements for the Florence Theatre. (August 31, 2001)
